Hey! My name is Liam Findlay. I’m a lead and rhythm guitarist with experience playing and teaching genres from Rock, Metal, and Grunge to Jazz, Blues, and Country. I specialize in fingerstyle, chords, soloing, music theory, songwriting, and sight-reading/tablature. My musical background spans acoustic and electric guitar as well as trombone, playing in everything from rock bands and jazz ensembles to Western’s Marching Band across recitals, private venues, and bar gigs. Currently, I'm pursuing a Bachelor in Popular Music Studies at Western University.
As an instructor, I believe patience is the foundation of a great learning environment—giving students of all ages and skill levels the space to ask questions, make mistakes, and build confidence at their own pace. Whether you want to master your favorite songs or sharpen your technique, I’m excited to help you reach your goals and guide you on your guitar journey!
